   Hi silver2screen,

   Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. So, when you transfer a domain, all the time you have paid with your current registrar will transfer as well. Keep in mind, there's a $11.95 fee attached to transferring a domain (unless you have a free domain credit left on your account with InMotion Hosting). This will extend the registration of the domain for one year as well. I hope this helps! Feel free to ask any further questions you may have.

   So, suppose if i already paid godaddy for my domain for five years and decided to transfer melbourneIT with inmotinhosting, do i need to pay anything to them(melbourneIT) for the domain?
